The event takes place on September 12th and 13th, 2026. On these two days, it's nationwide: all movies, all seats, all genres – for just € 5,00 in all participating cinemas.

THE KINOFEST is not a traditional festival at a fixed location. Instead, you can go to any of the participating cinemas throughout Germany – no matter where you are. Simply choose your cinema and enjoy the full program.

Yes, this is recommended. Many screenings sell out quickly. You can get tickets directly from participating cinemas or through their respective online booking systems. From August onwards, a cinema finder will also be available on the official website to help you find a cinema near you.
